As you said, you have two HUB servers, MBX servers will do the round robin on its own. This really sound strange but this absolutely normal.EdgeTransport.exe and MSExchangeTransport.exe are the executable files that are used by theExchange Transport service. This service runs on every HUB Transport server or Edge Transport server.http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb232166.aspxhttp://www.tech-archive.net/Archive/Exchange/microsoft.public.exchange.admin/2008-05/msg01569.htmlRaj

Check for the folder's size and see if any of teh folders have grown unexpected. specially check for the exchange folders and sub folders and see if there is some thing fishy going over there. Check for the hidden folders also.Raj

I think that the probleme is caused by open relaying. the exchange server is trying to transmet a lot of messages. I have many queues in my server. and the queues are full. How can I correct this?

Hi there,With the advent of SP1+ backpressure for storage space went down to 500mb (from 4GB@RTM).Can I suggest you also check the following TechNet articles to ensure you have sized your Hub Transport Servers correctly."Transport Server Storage Design" http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb738141.aspx"Planning Memory Configurations" http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb738124.aspx"Planning Processor Configurations" http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa998874.aspxOliver

what the solution??? Have you tested your Server for Open Relay? As discussed Exchange is disabled for this by default. Here's an article describing how to enable relaying for Exchange 2007.http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2006/12/28/432013.aspxAdding any domains as 'external relay' would also set your Exchange Org to accept mail for these and then forward them on (via a Send Connector or DNS).Oliver

It was necessary to stop the transport service and to delete the queue. I have installed a relay SMTP to protect my domain.
